I started designing jewelry in 1995 because of my love
for natural stones. My passion for color and design attracted the
interest of family and friends and I began to share my creations with
others.
The essence of my designs centers around the use of
natural stones accented with Swarovski crystals, pearls or other unique
materials. Most of my creations are strung on the highest quality
pearl string to allow the light appearance that has become my trademark.
Most pieces are "one-of-a-kind" designs made from unique
combinations of materials I discover. I find a unique stone, cut,
color and quality that calls out to me then search for just the right
materials to complement it. It is usually difficult or imposable
for me to recreate designs that I have made in the past.
I draw my inspiration from many areas. Most
designs start with color, which may be inspired by the combinations I
see in nature or often by works of artists like Gauguin, Van Gough, and
Chagall.
See my Photo Gallery for examples of some of my favorite
designs.
